Day Two: Court House Orange Peel (CHOP) workshop: Sunday, June 14th 2026 

Location: Stockwerk Oppelner Str.3-5 82194 Gröbenzell from 10:00- 17:00

In this block-based workshop we’ll be playing with my latest block, the Court House Orange Peel.

With thorough step by step instructions, lots of colour play and in depth demo’s this block will enhance your skills, especially your curved piecing.

If you enjoy making this 10 1/2” block you might choose to make 15 more and create a 42” quilt. The blocks can be made using the PSS custom acrylic templates* or the paper templates included with this pattern.

One hour prep session (via zoom):May 11th 8pm (german time)

Level:

Suitable for intermediate quilters but adventurous beginners that are up for a challenge should also feel encouraged to join. No previous curve experience is required but general quilting knowledge is assumed (how to use a rotary cutter, sew with an accurate seam allowance etc) and an affection for precision will surely help.

* we’ll be using the Multiple Drunkard’s Path sets for this class.

You will need the following materials:

Sewing machine
High quality, fine sewing thread (40 or 50 wt) in a neutral color or to match your project
Cutting mat if you prefer to bring your own
Small iron, if you prefer to bring your own
Rotary cutter
Long patchwork ruler
Hera marker (preferred) or other non-permanent marking tool/pen/chalk
Pins
Seam ripper
Printed paper templates OR Jenny's acrylic templates
Glue pen (Jenny uses Prym Aqua Marker, but Sewline Glue Pen is also popular), useful but not essential
Optional: A 1/4 ruler, useful but not important

Cancellation and refund policy for in-person classes:

We understand that plans can change. As our Quilt Workshop (participation fee: €175) involves limited seating and advance preparation of materials, a fixed cancellation fee of €30 applies to all cancellations.

Due to limited seating and advance preparation, the following cancellation policy applies to all workshop bookings (participation fee: €175):

The remaining balance will be refunded.

Cancellations must be made in writing.

·       Cancellations made 14–29 days before the workshop date are subject to a cancellation fee of €60.

·       Cancellations made less than 14 days before the workshop date are subject to a cancellation fee of €87.50.

The remaining balance will be refunded accordingly.

If a replacement person is found to attend and the original participant makes financial arrangements directly with this person to take their place, please let us know by email. There will be no additional costs.

In the event of a no-show without prior notice, the full workshop fee is non-refundable.

If the workshop is cancelled by the organizer, participants will receive a full refund.

 Thank you for your understanding.

A minimum number of participants is required to hold face-to-face seminars. If not enough registrations are received, the host reserves the right to cancel or postpone the workshop. If the host cancels a workshop, they must endeavor to give at least one week's notice.

If rescheduling is not possible, the full cost will be refunded. The host cannot be held liable for any damage caused by such a cancellation.
